July 11th – Susan’s Garden Designer Challenge

IMG_0365
Susan Tierney-Cockburn designs flower dies that are realistic and to scale as those flowers we find in nature. For our first challenge let’s celebrate with flowers! Create a card/project anything you want as long as it included one or more Susan’s Garden flowers.
For my card I’ve chosen to use Susan’s Day Lily  as well as the Victorian Tea Cup and Saucer. The beautiful yellow lilies are of Elizabeth Craft Soft Finish Cardstock (85lb) and coloured with Copic markers. They were shaped using Susan’s All Metal 4 piece tool set, the shaping pad and leaf pad. I added Elizabeth Craft Leafy Branch  for added greenery. The background paper is from ModaScrap Sweet Vintage Rose Collection. Elizabeth Craft Designs Fitted Frames 1 – Lace Rectangles are used for the pretty border. The cup and saucer were shaded with Phthalo Blue Tint from Susan’s PanPastel Kit #2

  1. Yes, Susan’s Flower Dies are gorgeous, and I love what you’ve done by combining the Day Lily Die set, the Victorian Teacup & Saucer Die set, and Els’ Leafy Branch. Nicely done Angela.
